You will find plenty of local restaurants to choose from but we would recommend the following:
Cisternino - for a truly unique experience, visit the town of Cisternino - first you visit the butchers stall, pick (and pay for) your meat which is sent to be cooked. Then you go to a local restaurant, take a table and pick your side orders, drinks - your meat will arrive as it is cooked.

Santa Sabina -Both il Picollo Torre and the fish restaurant just beside the tower serve great fish with pasta. The local favourite outdoor Pizza spot is also great when you don't want a full meal.
